Andy Denniss

Andy has a social housing career dating back to 1994 in the UK and since 2009 in Australia, when he joined the Brisbane Housing Company and subsequently Churches of Christ Housing Services.

His passion for providing affordable homes which meet the housing needs of those who are often discriminated against in the private rental market resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars of investment by the Queensland government to provide accessible over 55’s accommodation which also released larger homes for those families on the register of need.

Andy has also spent some time providing Specialist Disability Accommodation under the NDIS and now as Chief Operations Officer at CHCA he wants to apply all of that experience to benefit the First Nations People of the land which has become his home.
